Vickie L. Norman - VP and CEO
Vickie was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and attended Virginia Wesleyan College and Old Dominion University where she graduated in 1981 with a BA in special education. In 1981, she and Richard Norman were married and she pursued her career as an educator. In 1989, after the birth of their second child, she retired from teaching to spend her time with the children. During this time, she did extensive volunteer work and fundraising for local charities. Being married to one of the most successful direct-mail fundraisers, it was quite natural for Vickie to successfully join RMLC as Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2000. In that capacity, she has led the company to a doubling of their list management properties to over 50 properties and has developed a brokerage program excelling in both political and charitable direct mail. RMLC lists such as Seniors with Traditional Values, Conservatives Who Give, Donors for a Safe and Secure Future, American Contract Bridge League and Seniors Vital to America have become top performers for charitable mailers. Vickie is an active member of the Direct Marketing Association and the Direct Marketing Association of Washington and is co-chairing the DMAW List Bazzar, for a second year in a row. Vickie is the founder and facilitator of the Greater Washington List Profesionals, which meet on a quarterly basis in the DC area for networking luncheons. Vickie and Richard live in Paeonian Springs, Virginia with their twenty-one year old son, JD, their eighteen year old daughter, Beth Anne, and their eighteen year old niece, Zoe. JD will graduate from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech in 2008 with a major in Business Management. Beth Anne is attending Virginia Commonwealth University and Zoe is attending James Madison University. Vickie enjoys golf, ACC football, entertaining and traveling. |
